His Favor, my glory.

The King's undeserved favor has brought me into the palace and made me a member of the Royal family. I deserved death and permanent exile, but one look of my eye ravished the King of Kings and he decided: "this one too, I will adopt". Day by day, as I gaze on His loving, kind face, I begin to reflect His glory more and more. Oh the wonders of it all. This love is beyond my understanding!

¹⁸And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.

I must become like a little child to see the kingdom of heaven. Mia, my grandaughter, sees things she wants and asks expecting to get yes. Mia is happy and excited about lots of things that we adults in her world, are tickled about. She climbs a ladder into the loft and is so proud of herself even though her daddy helped her. So when I want something, I just need to ask my heavenly Daddy. The things that will make me happy are the things He is happy about and I can feel proud when I find fun in the simple things of life even though He probably helped me! Yea, when I am still like a weaned child in her mothers lap, I am like Mia, content in what my Father has for me each day even if its growing a bit more each day. Today I will be still on my Fathers lap until I find contentment in His loving gaze again, knowing my Papa's love is enough because I am His child.

Money and Me

My God, the Almighty Creator of the Universe ..this is what He says about money and me...He says no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly; He says those who fear the Lord shall not lack any good thing, there is no want to those who fear Him and He will fill my treasuries if I fear Him; that it His will that I prosper and be in health just as my soul prospers... So yea, seek Him, fear Him, delight in Him and let my soul prosper in Him which means blind trust in the face of impossibilities...I want this kind of faith of Abraham and He says its mine...so today I press toward trusting and believing and taking down the Goliath in my life. (his name is "noone will take care of you and you will be alone in this world") He is coming down. I will not be alone, I am well taken care of. My bills are met, my debts are paid off, my needs are taken care of and my wants too. I am a royal daughter in the Kings family and I do not have a care in the world now because The King of Kings is my Father and I please Him daily, and walk in His garden with Him and serve Him and do His bidding and give when HE tells me because I have no fear for the morrow, because He is my provider and my Baal Perazim (The Lord of Breaking Forth) and will break through all my enemies of defeat and lack and debt by my hand and His power and favor and goodness! Thats my story and I am sticking to it!~

Stable in this economy?

Stability, assurance, strength and peace. These are concepts we all hope to see played out in our lives more often than not. But how in this uncertain season of economic troubles, political disagreements, and negativity floating all around us.

Here is the answer:

Isaiah 33:6 Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; the fear of the Lord is His treasure.

The fear of the Lord opens the door to wisdom and knowledge in our lives. To fear Him, to reverence Him for who He is, and to love Him is the treasure HE has given to us. It is the way we have stability and strength in this uncertain season.

Our President is not going to be the Savior, Jesus is. AND He is going to do that through us, the church.The church doesn't have to do it all alone. We have the Holy Spirit who was sent to be in us and on us, baptizing us with fire and power. When we believers love Him, spend time with Him, worship Him, think on His Words, become one with Him, we become the vehicle that brings His Kingdom with all His wisdom, and stability,peace,healing and power that our world needs right now. Its good news all the way home. What is the answer? The Hope of Glory in us, reaching out to the world His loving Fatherly arms and saying...Come all you who are weary, my burden is easy, my yoke is light! The Kingdom of God is at hand! rejoice!! Holy Spirit come and renew the Hope within our country!

A final thought, on a personal level, I would like to thank the Military of this country for what they have given up to do what we could not do here at home. God bless them abundantly for the gifts of their lives. Especially for the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, of Fort Wainwright Alaska who have just returned from Iraq. This picture was captured by Sheila on a beautiful fall day in Fairbanks, while they walked along some hiking trails..you can see the already fallen birch leaves on the boughs of this spruce tree and more in the background turning the wonderful gold just before they fall to the ground.

Love. I keep coming back to it. Its not like the love these two horses have for one another. Its the kind that tells another human being they are totally valued, totally accepted, absolutely worth dying for. Its the kind of Love that is God, that comes into our spirits when we are born again into His kingdom. Its the love that "never fails". What do you do with someone who is destroying their lives?Love them. What do you do with someone in your life that is harming you on a regular basis? love them. What do you do with Christians in your life that are acting anything but "christian"? love them. What do you do when people gossip about you and spread false rumors about you? love them. It was the Creator's idea to start with. He is all about loving unconditionally. He is all about dying for us when we do not earn or deserve it. He is all about going the extra mile a thousand times over to make sure we are winners in the end. He is good all the time, really, really good! In case you are wondering, I am writing this to encourage myself to love, love and love some more. Not judge, not criticize, not hold grudges. Just love, bless, and love some more. Because what the world needs now is Love sweet love!

GOOD NEWS!!!!

As I slept, God came again. Thoughts of green, only growth, only new life in every stituation because God has come to the earth and brought His kingdom with Him and left us in charge to bring the good news. His Kingdom promises restoration, happy endings, miracles, good news, good relationships, good health, protection from the evil one. Only Kingdom is manifesting as I meditate on the unseen and bring it to the seen world. How? he kept telling me in my dreams, think on it and think on it and think on it until it is more real than the world you are in....you owe it to the world. You have learned, it has been imparted to you, you have been equipped with the truth, now you have to think on it constantly....not any other thing in the negative, not any thing that is not absolutely surrendered the Lordship and kingship of our Lord and Savior...everything you think on has to be lined up, noble , of good report, praiseworthy, of good report, a blessing and an edification, and a blessing only. Think on this, think on it, and think on it, and say it to yourself, and see the world through His eyes. The kingdom has come and its fullness is here, we just have to see it with our heart, get the truth into us now, that is why we prophecy in part and love in part because our minds are only renewed in part...Oh the Kingdom of God is here becasue Jesus defeated Satan once and for all, and made him a public spectacle. He did not hide this victory, He rose and conquered the evil one’s reign. HE no longer reigns, only the King of Kings now. Is your life filled with the evil ones doings? Start thinking on God’s truth, His words, HIs promises, HE has come now, its done, it is spring and the winter is past, behold your King and His words...as you think in your heart so you become. You are not the carrier of the divine Kingdom because of your rank, training, or giftings but because of the Blood. Ministers who go and preach the gospel with signs and wonders following, do so because they constantly think on the Kingdom and what it is and what it looks like and Who brought it and how good He is. HE is here! Rejoice for the Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent (not grovel in your mistakes and sins but change your thinking now) for the Kingdom of God is here. Victory is here! God is good all the time!

Change my mind?

You believe what you hear, so do I. You know what else? I meditate on what I hear. I am sure you know where I am going with this. What I meditate on becomes my reality. "As a man thinks in his heart, so he is"Proverbs 23:7. I hear, I believe, I meditate, I create the reality of it. It works the same for all of us. So H1N1 hits our state, and we think FEAR.

Fear of sickness, fear of death, and fear of the unknown have already penetrated our state like a secret weapon. Our real enemy is not swine flu, its fear. Facts and concerns are floating around our lives like so much debris and we are meditating on it, believing it, and creating realities of it in our own lives. Job 3:25 says "for the thing I greatly feared has come upon me." Fear opens the door. So enough about fear.

Now you know what your enemy is! But GOOD NEWS!!!! here it is, and I know you have been waiting to hear it. What is the solution? you are asking yourself. There seems to be no hope!

The good news, is that if you change what you hear, God will change your future. You say "what?" Its true, if I start to hear only good news all day long, what do you think I am going to start to believe on? and meditate on? and create in my own life? Yup. GOOD NEWS. It depends on what I hear. When fear attacks my thoughts, its time to change what I hear. Its time to increase my hearing of good news. The good news.....the Bible is full of it.

The Kingdom of God has come to this earth. In His kingdom there is no sickness, disease, swine flu, fatal outcomes, worsening finances, defeat, depression and death. NONE. Jesus said to pray that His kingdom would come in every situation. He said, Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers because His kingdom had come. He said He came to heal the brokenhearted, because His kingdom had come. He said we have a future and peace filled with hope and not evil, that we have been delivered from the Kingdom of darkness and translated into another one...His Kingdom! He wants us to prosper as our soul prospers....So much good news.

So what I do when fear tries to come, I remember again that I am listening to the wrong news and its time to increase my hearing of the good news because out of the abundance of my heart (or my meditations) my mouth will speak and everyone knows I will have what I say!

So change what you hear today. Get some good news in your ears and start to think constantly on it. This war between the devil and God's people has to do with what we think....Jesus, by spilling His Blood, has already triumphed over the devil. For this reason the Son of Man was manifested, that HE might destroy the works of the devil! YEA!!! Praise the Lord. He wins and so do we.

Some things you wish you knew beforehand!

Cooking dinner and relaxing with email...or so I thought. Having never had an official hands on instruction on "things you should know about gas stoves and ovens", I placed a tupperware of crepe batter on the vent of the oven in my new dwelling place, while my chicken roasted happily inside. What I did not know soon became apparent as I sniffed a strange combination of roast chicken, cooked crepes and plastic all in one! Yes, the container had indeed melted and dripped all the contents into the oven below...very messy and very smelly. After kicking myself for creating such an untimely mess, my cousin assured me that at least I didn't try to blow out the pilot light which she had thought to do at one time. I wasn't sure if that was a comforting thought or not. ahem.

Then on a beautiful sunny afternoon, 2 friends and I decided to go cranberry picking. The pickings were good and we had brought along Cooper, the much loved dog of one of the neighbors. Then unbeknownst to me, my wanderings took me straight across an underground bee hive. I am not sure who stirred the nest, Cooper or me, but all at once I was batting and running, dropping camera gear and all with Cooper pawing and rolling simultaneously. The first sting was on my thumb and I didn't remember how really painful a bee sting could be until that moment but then as I ran down to find water to rinse off my skin, the second one took a stab at my neck twice, which instantly started throbbing while sending numbness and shooting pain into my jaw and scalp. Not fun but definitely not fatal. The question continues to befuzzle my mind..."how could one very tiny little wasp inflict so much pain on a big human like me?" While I am trying to unravel this and other mysteries, you might want to try avoiding underground beehives as much as possible, if you know where they are!

Beyond Bethel School

Camp Nursing finished up on Friday after 8 weeks of fun, Bible, praying for the sick and tending to their owies! Here they are waiting in front of the dining hall to eat, singing songs with our dedicated young counselors who are a blast to work with!

To celebrate August,

Marilyn, Liz and Stacie and I went blueberry picking up the Steese Highway. What we found were slim pickings but the view was wonderful from the summit!

While trekking back to the car, I almost stepped on some fur hidden in the tundra. Upon closer inspection I found a small multi brown colored rabbit, alive and staying very still except for an occasional blink. Stacie and I both marveled that he didn't move an inch.

And yes, we did gather a few blueberries but are really dreaming of going to the 7 gallon mother lode that someone who knows someone told us about. Stay tuned for more blueberry stories to come!

Graduation from Bethel

Close to 1000 students graduated from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry on May 17, 2009. We were dispatched to all over the world. Close to 500 or so, will return to school in Fall for more training. I am amongst the dispersed who will not return in Fall. My assignment? to bring His Kingdom everywhere I go. I am reminded of something Kris Vallotton said in Fall, and that is the the very thing you fear, (as you venture out to bring the gospel) is often the door to your destiny! So to Alaska I returned, to be Camp Nurse as a volunteer, on a Children's Bible Camp for 10 weeks. To be sure some fears have tried to have their way in my thoughts and choices but I know that to "lose your life" for the sake of following Jesus Christ, is actually to "find it"! So my key to success in this venture? Worship and intimacy with my Father, the Lord, the Savior, the Holy Spirit! Because apart from the vine there is no fruit. So I pray a blessing on all of you who read this blog today and ask that He would pour out a revelation of His love for you in ways far greater than you have ever known up to this point! More later! 

Become like a child....

The reason Jesus said you must be like a child to enter the kingdom of God is not because you can't get into heaven, but because you won't experience the kingdom of heaven on earth unless you become like a child and see everything from a childs point of view. ...like everything is going to turn out like magic and live happily ever after and the Prince will come and kiss us and make everything right, that it is only going to get better, in every way, that every problem will get better, that God will make everything easy and that He will answer every prayer, every dream, every hope....You are probably thinking..."right, sure, whatever", but if you think that all is good, that God is good and that our future is filled with hope and not evil, that our paths are ever brighter till the perfect day,etc, you start doing what? you start celebrating, not fearing, thanking God constantly and clapping your hands in delight like a child who was just told Christmas is coming and HE KNOWS Santa will bring him what he wants...he is excited, not afraid, he is full of faith so to speak because he knows Santa is always good and always brings good things and is always on time (Christmas day)...amazing, huh? What if you found out that the only thing holding up all your dreams coming true was the fear on your face which is the open door to the enemy coming in and taking all that away....what does this require of us? TO BECOME LIKE A LITTLE CHILD! You must become like a child to enter the kingdom of God because the Kingdom of God is here in your world and heart when you receive Jesus as Savior..you ask, "then why has my life and my whole familys life been a mess?" because we had fear on our faces and that was the passport the enemy had into our family's life. What if I put on the "tigger" annointing and start dancing the victory dance over every situation in my life that is not perfect? it is the one way I can act on the Word of God and act in faith...DANCE AND PRAISE HIM like David did when the tabernacle came into Jerusalem. He knew in his spirit that when the Spirit of God was there...everything was going to be good...how much more... the Resurrected Lord is here and in us, Christ in us the hope of Glory..what is the Glory..His manifest presence, Where does He manifest? in His peoples praise! its easy to do and does not require you working up faith...feels a little stupid at first but If I had to choose between Eeyore and Tigger...welll you get it right? Tigger is more fun! Praise the Lord!!!!! So Jesus was saying if you want to see the kingdom of heaven on earth...basically if you want to see heaven on earth (where every tear is wiped away), then look at life like a child..and believe in the Prince who wants to come on His white horse with His sword and kiss us, thus killing the dragon who is waiting to devour the child we are birthing, which is our future, our destiny, our call and our life on earth...it is destined to be glorious and we obtain it by acting like a child..cool, eh??? thats why all the legalism is bugging you because deep down you know this is true, it was better when you were a kid and thought everything should turn out the way you imagine it should...its supposed to be that way!Does any of that make sense? its all good news. Dance and celebrate like Tigger, your dreams are about to come true!

After a month of silence...

Contemplations of a January Day...

To believe the evil of the past will repeat itself is to believe a lie, but to believe in His Word, and not the lie,when it defies the past,  takes courage, love and absolute trust in Him.

When a counselor in more interested in making you do right, than in your heart, he is not listening to you but rather has taken on the job of watchdog over the sins of men, which mocks the finished work of Christ who as forever forgiven ALL our transgressions.

The only way to face a den of lions when you know it is not simply the reaping of what you have sown, but rather the work of sin in another, is to love until fear flees before you, thus saving your very life.

If Jesus,knowing what was in men,  did not commit Himself to those who believed Him because of the signs, why do we still trust in the approval of man when we do His bidding?

If it is the pleasure of the Father to reveal the mysteries of the Kingdom of God to His children, why do we grow lazy and hard hearted in searching Him out?

If God promises good, kindness and abundant life when we follow Jesus, why don't we follow Him with absolute abandonment? 

Love to all you readers, May His face shine on you and may you search Him out like a treasure hidden in a field, selling all to buy it, because abundant life is just around the corner and He is waiting to shower  blessings on you!
