So through the years, I have found a few keys to walking in the unseen realm of the Kingdom of God. Before I go any further, I want you to know, I still fall short in relationships and in my walk, far from being that perfect reflection of my God. But, due to following these few principles, I have seen God interface with my world and me with His in ways that still amaze me. We are spirits with a body and soul, after all and this world is not the only realm we are to walk in. So are you wondering yet, what those few things are? Before I tell you, I have to say, the more days I walk with God, the more I know I have only touched the tip of the iceberg and there is so much more depth to God and I want more today than ever, to know Him intimately, to walk in the supernatural, to set people free to live that abundant life Jesus told us about, to send out the news that God has already reconciled every man, woman and child to Himself through the punishment on Jesus..every sin on earth has been washed away and forgiven. People just don't know, a clean slate is available now. So how do I, one of his adopted children, go to my world in power and demonstration of this superior realm, (the Kingdom of God)?
Three things each day: First, I pray in the Spirit, yes in tongues, just as the apostles and disciples did in the New Testament. Second, I spend time in the Word of God, journaling it, or researching it or praying it, communicating to God as I hear what I believe I am understanding from that part of the Bible that day, (in other words, God and I have conversation, and I spend time listening and waiting on His thoughts for me). Thirdly, I make a decision to act on His words and commands. I purpose in my day to love like He loves, to forgive like He forgives, to offer words of reconciliation to others that they might know Him. More than this though, I am compelled to demonstrate His power and quest after more grace for this, because there are so many in our world today who do not know His great love and the fact that their sins have been washed clean, that all they have to do is come to the "bank" of the Kingdom and sign up for the free deposit in their account of forgiveness for all time!
I pray today, as you read this, you will have more of Him today than ever before, because He is the light of life and the source of all joy, peace and satisfaction in this life! blessings on you...

Utterly broken and utterly awed
To be utterly broken and utterly awed..true awakening to the gospel..is one authors thought. I agree. Its a gift from God to be in that place but it is the only way one is compelled by Love, filled with Love and going out to Love...to bring the true message of the gospel.
Its not..oh wow, you are a screwup and are going to hell if you don't get right with God. (this is called evangelism by some) (I call it manipulation, judgement and sin)
No, the true "gospel" or good news is ...you screwed your life up? Hey no worries, Jesus paid for you to have it erased and come back into the family of God who calls Himself Father to all who come back. Its just terrific and happy news nonstop. Once I walk knowing its all a gift, then I am broken because His greatness makes me know that I, undeserved, have received a wonderful treasure of a forgiven life and restored life to a family that will never unadopt me. The awe comes from not really being able to comprehend such a vast amazing love that a Creator could have for his broken messed up creation. The awe compels me to ask for more of that Love that I might be filled and thus leak it more and more onto everyone in my life. Truly He is a God beyond our wildest imagination and I suppose we will be spending eternity comprehending Him.

Rest
Rest? you say? yes." Return to your rest, O my soul, For the LORD has dealt bountifully with you." You have to talk to your soul. Rest o my soul, rest. Its you who will calm your own soul. Its you who will tell yourself to stop fretting and trying to fix your life and get everything right. Its you. Tell your soul: Rest o my soul now.
"For all his days are sorrowful, and his work burdensome; even in the night his heart takes no rest. This also is vanity." The author of this quote said it rightly. Its in vain to take no rest in sorrow and burdens. Its vain. It does not profit you or me. Our heart needs to take rest. Noone will hand that to you. He will lead you by still waters and restore your soul but you have to let Him lead you. Be still, He says, and know that I am God. Be still and listen. "Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me." I quiet my own soul like a weaned child with his mother. This child knows that it is ok that he has to grow now to solid food and other ways of nourishment. He can trust his mother's love. He reminds himself that his mother is still there, still taking care of him, still loving him. Thats the way we are to be with God, trusting His love, refusing to worry or be anxious. When there is a lot going on in life, we need to pull back and sit with Him and hear and be still and rest with Him. “In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” This is a big key. In the rest is the communing. In the communing with Him is the hearing His comfort, direction and thoughts about you. In being still with Him, is laying down your own ways, and rights, and submitting to Him as Lord. So why am I writing this to you today? because I am preaching to myself. Be still o my soul and rest for your Lord, the God of the Universe has you in mind and has plans to prosper you and give you a future and hope. Rest in Him today and let Him take your hand and lead you there.

Heart Cry
Had to post this quote....
"The urge that makes one man a drunkard, another a philosopher . . . the restlessness that fills the dance hall and the gambling resort, the roadhouse and the movies, and all the other places of pleasure is the heart's search for reality, that universal quest of the ages, the spirit's search for the Holy Grail.
No one finds it until they contact the Man, Christ Jesus, and crown Him as the Lord of their life. That moment the search ends, They have arrived. They may not be conscious of what it is, but they know that the pleasures that they once sought have lost their taste and attraction. They did not know that the hunger was spiritual, that it was a search after something that only God can give.
No person reaches the place of rest in the spirit until they have made that contact. Man is a spirit being. He has a soul. He lives in his body. The real man can never be permanently satisfied with the things of the senses. It is a fact that the boy or girl that finds this thing in the teenage never sows wild oats, has no great urge for the dangerous pleasures of the world. They have something that answers that cry.
This book is a study. It is a solution of the spirit problem. It is the first time that anyone has attempted to enter the realm and meet man on his own ground. We invite you to read it carefully. We wish we could get in contact with every person who does. We want to know the reactions in your spirit. We believe we have found the fount of eternal joy."
