Holy Spirit

Times are rough and I don't need to tell you that for you to say its true.
BUT what goes unsaid, is the fear, anxiety, and unknown future of our lives and that of our country, that constantly attacks our minds and emotions.
What recourse do we have in the face of impossible circumstances, unknown futures, and fears bigger than life? What can we do when we see our rights being taken away and our government doing things that were unthinkable when the Constitution was written?
This is what I think. See if you agree.
If you are a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, you have the Holy Spirit. He not only lives within but is promised to be the Comforter, Guide, and Counselor in our lives each day. He is also our Abba, our intimate Father, our Savior, our lover...He is God but wants to be so extremely involved in every part of our life. It is up to us how much. He is a gentleman and will never barge in. He will wait to be asked, and He will always answer.
In the last 2 years, I have learned that a BIG part of having a relationship with God, is spending quiet time listening to Him. I never knew how to do this before going to Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, CA. There it is taught and modeled and caught! I learned to put on instrumental music, ask the Holy Spirit to come and talk with me and then close my eyes and let my imagination interact with Him. I ask questions and He answers and shows me pictures and places and discloses some part of His nature to me and mostly affirms who I am as His daughter.
Knowing I am loved every day, is how I am learning to trust in Him, to follow Him into the unknown and to see the supernatural happen in my every day life. Holy Spirit. We need Him and HE desires to lead us and empower us for these days...He is the one who will cause us to be the Light that shines in the darkness like our Savior. We were called to this. We were sent into our world with this Divine love ...Holy Spirit.. We need to hear His voice each day. Yesterday's counsel won't do for today. Like the General of the army, He is to be followed moment by moment. Soon you too, will begin to experience His presence. You will recognize when He comes in a powerful way, you will know He won't leave you, you will become a haven for these ships tossed to and fro on the stormy seas...Because you have the Holy Spirit.
